The problem is you let yourself get talked into crossover steering which pretty much always causes steering issues on a TJ. There is a drain for it; open your hood and you'll see a very large tube coming out of the firewall with a "flapper valve" on the end. That's the box drain. Just my 2 cents, When I first got my jeep on 05, I primed the entire frame with Rustoleum primer and Rustoluem professional paint. Came out really good, and still holding up today. Dirt and mud wash right off. The primer is pretty heavy.To remove board from housing, remove the 4 - torx 10 at red circles and 1- Torx 20 at green circle.
